Custom design pickleball paddle: from idea to paddle in 7 days

In 2026 almost everyone plays pickleball with a standard branded paddle. Wilson, Head, Bullpadel, Nox, the same models over and over on every court. Understandable, because those brands make good paddles. But there is also a growing group of players who want something personal. A paddle with their own design. Their own name, their own colors, their own statement.

Why a custom design pickleball paddle?

Three reasons we often hear:

Unique on the court. No paddle like your opponent's. A conversation starter, with your name or idea prominently present.

Personal memory. For example for a special event (wedding, anniversary, retirement) where you want the paddle to keep marking that moment.

Statement of style. Players who, just like in streetwear, want their gear to reflect something of their personality. Pickleball is increasingly lifestyle, not just sport.

From idea to paddle: the timeline

Day 0: idea and design

You open our designer. No account, no installation. You start right away. Text, colors, uploading images, setting position. Most people are done within five to ten minutes.

Still hesitating? Save it and sleep on it. Tomorrow you often know which way you want to go. Design via the link you get (no account needed, save the link).

When you are happy: click order. Say: you order today at 2:00 PM.

Day 1: proof within 24 hours

Within 24 hours you receive a professional digital proof by email. It looks different from what you saw in the designer: our designer has checked whether all colors are right, whether logos are sharp enough, whether text is well legible.

You review the proof. Approve? Email back, we start. Not approved? Indicate what you want different, we adjust and send a new proof. This is free and can be done as often as needed.

Say: you approve on day 2.

Day 2 to 6: finishing

Your design goes to our workshop. We print with high-quality full-color sticker print, apply it to the 100% carbon base paddle, put a protective coating over it, fit the grip tape, wrist strap and protective cover.

Every paddle goes through a human quality check before it leaves the workshop.

Day 7: delivered

Packed, shipped via PostNL, free within the Netherlands. Within 7 days of your approval of the proof your paddle is on your doorstep.

Total time from first idea to play-ready paddle: around eight days.

What can you design?

Almost anything. What we often see:

Minimalist with name or initials. Clean, timeless, always works. For example large letters in a color that contrasts with the base paddle.

With your own logo. If you have a brand, a company, a side hustle: your logo on the hitting surface makes it your paddle.

With a photo. High-resolution photo of people, animals, places that mean something to you. Also works for memorial paddles (in memory of someone known).

With sports club or association. Logo of your club or team. Pleasant for people who play with multiple clubs.

With an inside joke or statement. Your own humor, a sentence that says something about you, a brand name with a wink. Works especially well as a gift or for a second paddle.

Combine your own photo with text. For example a photo of your child on the hitting surface with “Dad's paddle” in cursive. It can hardly be more personal.

Three variants for individuals, all including VAT and shipping within the Netherlands:

• Basic: €99. Your own design on the hitting surface, standard black side.
• Full Custom: €119. Your own design on the hitting surface plus side.
• Duo Deal: €199. Two Full Custom paddles (€99.50 per unit). Ideal for partners, siblings, friends who play together.

Optional: premium protective cover with shoulder strap, €10 extra.

What if you don't know where to start?

Three tips:

Tip one: look at our showcase. On the homepage you see examples of what others made. Not to copy, but to get an idea of what is possible.

Tip two: start with your name. Just, big, in a color you like. Often that is already enough. Designing extensively yourself is not mandatory.

Tip three: think about the reason why you are doing this. Is it for yourself? For a gift? For a team? That occasion often determines on its own which way the design should go.
